Dining Cars
(There are two in the set.)
Here is a dramatic example of scale and gauge. Inside the Dining Car is the frame of a narrow gauge box car. Both are HO Scale. The Dining Car is Standard Gauge (8' 4.5" between the rails) and the box car is Narrow Gauge (anything less than Standard- my narrow gauge is 3'). I admit that the Dining Car is probably one of the largest cars that would run on a logging line, but it does run on the rails. The narrow gauge box car is a kit where the rolling stock has been converted to a static storage shed, but when I put it behind my narrow gauge locomotive I could imagine putting on a pair of trucks and couplers and it would look right at home.
